Elia Vance is the founder and creative director behind Velia, a brand born from a deep appreciation and connection to ballet, movement, and quiet elegance. Inspired by the softness of motion and the discipline of dance, she set out to design skirt pieces that feel as effortless as they look.
A former ballet dancer with over 12 years of training, Elia developed her eye for movement, line, and detail from a young age. After stepping away from dance, she found herself drawn back to the studio in adulthood, rediscovering not only the discipline of ballet but also the emotional connection it brings. This return to dance became the foundation for Velia – a chiffon ballet skirt brand created to support dancers at every stage, especially those finding their way back.
